Book Review: The Suitcase Kid, by Jacqueline Wilson

The Suitcase Kid is a chapter book. It has letters A-Z instead of chapter numbers.

This book is really good. It is about a girl called Andy, you would think its a boys' name but in actual fact it IS a girl's name as well. Andy has to move house from Mulberry Cottage where there is a Mulberry Tree in the garden. Somebody else moves in.

Andy has to move around from House A to B to C, because her Mum and Dad have split up and this story is all about a suitcase kid. She has one special friend who goes everywhere with her called Radish and every day they go to Mr and Mrs Peters' house to play in the garden.

One day, Andy went to play in Mulberry Cottage garden and she dropped Radish down a hole in the bottom of the tree. Mr and Mrs Peters found Radish and decided to make the tree root a bit more cosy for Radish.

I really liked the story of the Suitcase Kid.
